Maca Protein Smoothie

Packed with the adaptogenic power of maca, this smoothie is designed to balance your hormones, boost your energy, and keep your cravings at bay. There are also hemp seeds, a fantastic source of plant-based protein and essential fatty acids, including omega-3s and omega-6s. They support heart health, improve skin condition, and provide a perfect protein boost to keep you full and satisfied. The cacao nibs provide a subtle, natural sweetness and a delightful crunch to the smoothie, and the Further Food vanilla protein powder provides a whopping 20g of protein. This smoothie is a winner!


  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 3 Dates pitted
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Cauliflower
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of Hemp Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
  • 2 Heaping Tablespoons Cacao Nibs
  • 2 Teaspoons Maca Powder
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 3/4 – 1 Cup Almond Milk (adjust according to your desired thickness, I ended up using about a cup)


  1. Soften the dates in hot water for 5-10 minutes (this makes it easier to blend them, especially if they’ve been stored in the fridge)
  2. Add all liquids to the bottom of the blender first, and then add the remaining ingredients on top.
  3. Blend on high until smooth.
