A Day in the Life of a Holistic Nutritionist

When people learn that I am a holistic nutritionist, they often assume that most of my day is dedicated to preparing healthy foods and fulfilling partnership projects for the brands I work with. While part of that is true, there is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes that doesn’t have anything to do with food or partnerships. And I’d be willing to bet parts of my routine aren’t even all that different from yours! For those interested, here’s a look into a “day in the life” of me!

7:30 am: Wake up ☀️

You guessed it! The first thing I do in the morning is take my supplements:

  • Eidon Liquid Silica
  • Eidon Liquid Zinc
  • Body Ecology Folic Acid Liquid (in water)
  • Genuine Health Probiotic
  • Thyrovanz® (thyroid supplement)
  • DHEA
  • Tru Niagen® NAD
  • MitoQ Advanced CoQ10 Ubiquinol Supplement
  • Host Defense MyCommunity Immune Support
  • Liposomal Liquid Vitamin C
  • Bioidentical hormones

After that, I try to journal about my anxieties. Getting them out on paper helps me release them, and I always notice a difference in how I feel afterward.

Around 8:30 am, I make myself an organic espresso coffee with liquid stevia. While it’s brewing, I take Quicksilver Liposomal GABA and L-theanine.

9:30 am: You know I make time for this one: green juice time! Fresh from my juicer. Yum.

I usually meet with my first client at 10:00 am and take my next at 12:00 pm.

Around 1:00 pm is lunchtime. I usually opt for a S.O.U.P. Cleanse salad or order from a local favorite. Right now, I am really enjoying the Tempeh Collard Wrap from Real Food Daily and the Urth Salad from Urth Café.

At 2:00 pm, I meet with my third client of the day.

3:00 pm: Email catch-up and client follow-ups.

Sometime around 4:00 pm, I make myself a Tulsi tea and take my B multi-vitamin and vitamin D.

4-7:00 pm: This timeframe is tricky for me right now. I get a little lost around these hours. It has been a struggle filling this gap because I’m not motivated to work out when it gets dark—and it gets dark so early, of which I am not a fan.

7:00 pm: I look forward to this time every single day—dinnertime! I have someone preparing farm-to-table, veggie-focused meals for me (I know, I’m spoiled!). During the week, about half are plant-based, and half are animal protein. After this time, my phone and laptop are away for the evening. This helps tremendously with relaxation and circadian rhythm balance!

8-11:00 pm: My fiancé and I are Netflix addicts. We have watched everything! We especially love watching crime dramas like Balthazar and Shetland.

11:00 pm: Bedtime 🌙

I end the day the same way I start it! Evening supplements:

  • Magnesium
  • Prima CBD The Daily
  • Inositol
  • Eidon Liquid Zinc (in water)
  • Bioidentical Hormones
