Anti-Inflammatory Tea

Many of my clients suffer from chronic inflammation, and the unnerving part is that most of them have no idea. There are some telltale signs you may be experiencing chronic inflammation. For example, you may have body discomforts, such as joint stiffness, tendonitis, and muscle pain. You might have gained or lost weight unexpectedly. You may struggle with insomnia or other sleep issues. Or you might be displaying skin rashes. If any of these symptoms are ringing true for you, I recommend speaking with your doctor. But you can also practice holistic methods at home to help alleviate inflammation. One of my top recommendations is to drink this Anti-Inflammatory Tea daily – or even twice daily! It’s loaded with inflammation-reducing ingredients like curcumin which is activated by the black pepper. I swear this works wonders, even for people only experiencing acute inflammation.

Ingredients: 

1 lemon
1/2 tsp turmeric 
1/4 tsp of black pepper 
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp cinnamon 
1 cup of water 
1 1/2 cups of ice 
a few drops of stevia 

Directions: 

Grab a 16 oz cup. Add your ice, juice of half a lemon, turmeric, black pepper, ginger, and cinnamon. Then add in your hot water and a couple slices of lemon. Shake and enjoy!
