Cravings are our body’s physiological response to everything from emotional reasoning to hormones and stress, and I’m definitely not immune to them! My cravings typically hit me in the late afternoon, when I need a little energy boost. If I don’t have a green juice, I’m looking for my crunchy, salty pick-me up. I used to go for my infamous Rusty’s brand of potato chips, but I’ve finally found a way to redirect my craving into something just a little healthier!
I’ve started making small batches of homemade Everything Seasoning Chips using avocado oil and red potatoes. I pair them with a delicious cashew yogurt and chives dip and I just can’t get enough.
They’re super easy, healthy, and delicious!
2 cup thinly sliced red potatoes
4 T everything bagel seasoning
Start by preheating your oven to 450 Degrees. Slice potatoes as thin as you can get them (about ⅛ th of an inch).
Line a baking sheet pan and place a wire baking rack on top. Lay the potatoes onto the wire rack and spray with avocado oil. Season generously with everything seasoning. Bake for 30 minutes or until desired crispiness! Enjoy
