3 Drinks to Keep You Warm This Season

Right now is a great time to keep your body both warm and hydrated. Science shows the health benefits of warm beverages – they boost your energy, make you feel comforted, and even improve your circulation.

Inner Peace Latte

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 T of Reishi Cacao powder, I love Navitas
1 T Cacao powder
1/8 tsp cinnamon
2-3 drops of pure vanilla stevia to taste, Omica is my favorite

Directions:
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk all ingredients together to heat through. Serve nice and warm in a mug!

Tulsi Tea

Ingredients:
16 oz of water
1-2 inches of ginger, sliced
2 T of Tulsi Tea loose leaf, I like Organic India
1 lemon, sliced

Directions:
In a medium pot, bring water and ginger to a boil.  Then cover with a lid and reduce heat to low for 5-10 minutes. Turn off heat and add tulsi, let steep for 10-15 minutes.

Remove tea bags or if choosing loose leaf tea, strain tea through a fine mesh strainer. Add lemon and enjoy!

Warm Detox Tonic

Ingredients:
12 oz warm water
1-2 inches fresh ginger, grated
2 tsp of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar
1 lemon, juiced
1/4 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
