Homemade Pickles 

Many people enjoy pickles as a tasty snack or side dish. Did you know that pickles are also a healthy food? Pickles are low in calories and high in nutrients, making them a good choice for people who are looking for ways to improve their health. Made with cucumbers and vinegar, these pickles are low in calories and perfect for a quick bite. Plus, they’re easy to make!

Ingredients: 

3 cucumbers
1 garlic clove
1/2 jalapeno 
1 1/2 apple cider vinegar 
a handful of dill 
1 T peppercorns 
1 1/2 T salt 
3 cups of hot water 

Directions:

Start by cutting your cucumbers in spheres. Add them to a jar then add the apple cider vinegar, jalapeno, garlic, dill, peppercorns, and salt. Slowly add the hot water and set aside for a few hours. Enjoy!
